This is a great postcard of the Roosevelt Tea Room, which ultimately became The Farm House, which ultimately burned to the ground. I ate dinner at the Farm House May 28, 1989 and after dinner my boyfriend asked me to marry him. It must've been a pretty good meal, we'll be celebrating our 17th wedding anniversary this year.

I keep finding kind of cool old postcards of the Little Silver area, so I thought I'd start sticking them on here. If anyone has any images they can send me I would love it! The RR Station and the Globe Hotel are from the early 1900's and Sickle's Market is before it became fancy Sickle's Market.
